Silicone, Fiberglass, Nomex®, Silica, Ceramic Insulation Felts / Batting:
High Temperature, Heat, Flame & Fire Resistant Thermal Insulation (lagging) Felt & Batt
Non-respirable, low smoke, environmentally safe.  High purity and low or no binder burnout.
Very High Temperature Insulation Lagging :
Needled Fiberglass Felt Batts
1000°F / 537°C continuous rating, high insulation value &
excellent personnel protection
·   Very high temperature needled fiberglass insulation (lagging) is used to drape, shield
and insulate various industrial, commercial, marine and aerospace components such as valves,
actuators, hydraulic cylinders, electronic enclosures, air handling ducts, engine exhaust and
muffler systems.  Most often used as the insulation material for fabricated blankets and
covers, with high temperature fabric or metal mesh holding the needled insulation into place
    on both sides.
·   Available thickness: 1/4" (roll length = 100 feet), 1/2" (roll length = 75 feet)
    and 1" (roll length = 45 feet).  Sold by-the-yard. Roll width 60" (5 feet).
Fiberglass Needled Insulation
Extreme High-Temperature Insulation Lagging:
Needled Silica Felt Batts
Silica protection products with 2300°F / 1260°C continuous rating
· Generally, Silica high-temperature products can be used to 2000°F / 1093°C
continuously, and 2300°F / 1260°C for extended periods without degradation.
It melts above 3000°F / 1648°C.

·  Silica needled insulation is an excellent alternative or replacement for RCF
(Refractory Ceramic Fiber) and asbestos insulation.
·  Available thickness: 1/4" (roll length = 99 feet), 1/2" (roll length = 49 feet),
1" (roll length 26 feet).  Sold in full rolls only. Roll width is 36" (3 feet).

DeltaMax Low & Ultra-Low Thermal Conductivity Insulating Foam
500°F / 260°C continuous rating, high insulation value
·   A unique proprietary insulation material available in two versions, offering low and ultra-low
thermal conductivity and excellent performance for insulation requirements for low clearance
applications.  Typically ¼ the thickness of silicone foam insulations for the same application.

·   Can be multi-layered.  Total thickness 0.084 per layer.  A .002” thick cured silicone coating on
both sides, encapsulating a proprietary .080” core insulating material.

·   Extremely flexible and light weight.  Excellent for adding thermal insulation value to piping and
vessels in tight constraints and also for equipment utilizing band or strip electrical heaters.

·   DM-1 provides 0.06 W/(m.K) thermal conductivity at 200°C.  Weighs 16.7 oz/y2. DM-1 provides
a 81°C temperature gradient (169°C surface temperature) with a 250°C source with a single layer.

·   DM-2 provides 0.03 W/(m.K) thermal conductivity at 200°C.  Weighs 15.7 oz/y2.  DM-2 provides
a 122°C temperature gradient (128°C surface temperature) with a 250°C source with a single layer.
