This tape provides a smooth non-stick surface and is used on production line runners and guides for easy product and parts conveyance. Also used as an electrical tape for high insulation and high temperature performance.
Tape is made by slitting PTFE resin impregnated fiberglass fabric. Available with and without backing media on the adhesive side. Adhesive may be acrylic or silicone.
Industrial grade tape is a smooth surface with slight surface texturization (which is the underlying fiberglass weave). Premium grade is an exceptionally smooth surface with a higher PTFE content that Industrial grade.
The base fiberglass fabric is rated to 1000°F / 537°C while the PTFE (Teflon) melting point is 620°F / 327°C.
Available in .003, .005, .006, .010 and .014 inch thickness (base material. Add thickness of adhesive for total thickness).
Standard tape widths are .5, .75, 1, 1.25, 1.5, 2, 2.5, 3 inches. Custom widths are available.

Materials that resist catching fire, burn slowly, or retard burning can be described as either "incombustible", "non-flammable", "non-combustible", "fire-resistant" or "fire-retardant". "Self-extinguishing" materials cease burning once the flame or heat source is removed. "Fireproof" is understood to mean that an object cannot burn, but few materials are truly fireproof.

They can also provide OSHA, ANSI-FM & NFPA compliance and personnel protection.
